We are happy to announce that all papers will have: DOI, ISSN and ISBN. We aim to have papers indexed within six months. Visual proceedings will also now be published with The Design Society<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We invite PhD students to submit a poster to the Early Career Social Event<\/strong>. This is a new initiative of the conference and details are coming soon. All Delegates are invited to join on Wednesday evening following the welcome drinks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The 26th International Conference on Engineering and Product Design Education<\/strong> will be hosted at:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Aston University, on the 5th<\/sup> and 6th<\/sup> September 2024<\/strong>; with pre-conference workshops and events on the 4th<\/sup> September 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The E&PDE 2024 theme<\/strong><\/a> is Rise of the Machines: Design Education in the Generative AI Era<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The conference is organised in partnership with the Design Education Special Interest Group (DESIG) of the Design Society and the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED).<\/p>\n\n\n\n The E&PDE 2024 conference<\/strong> will bring together representatives from education and industry who have an interest in sharing new perspectives on design education. It will provide a forum for educators, practitioners and students from engineering and product design fields to discuss current and future educational issues. Professionals and students from other disciplines are also invited to contribute and participate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n We will continue the Visual Papers\u202ftrack<\/strong><\/a>, inviting papers with high visual content and less text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
